Cindo Santos and the Sunshine State
Yeah, we love it here - the Sunshine State - even if rains half the time and, there are no mountais, flater than a pancake. There aren’t even any hills in Florida. This makes us live for the here-and-now since it will all be under with climate change, unless, of course, we build a wall… huh, not that wall, but like in Holland, ya know. With palm, coconut, banana and avocado trees in my backyard, and chasing ducks away from my cat’s food (I gave up on the iguanas eating my flowers), and staying in bed late while my kids ride their bicycles to school (Florida is flat!) - yeaph, it’s all sunshine here.
